OVERVIEW.
PROBLEM:
Trans-Clean Truck Wash has been in business for 34 years, providing truck washing and detailing services. However, their website and branding hadn’t kept pace with modern design standards or the digital habits of today’s truckers. The existing site looked outdated, was difficult to navigate on mobile devices, and didn’t effectively communicate the full range of services or products they offered. This left a gap between the professional quality of their work and the impression their online presence gave to customers.
PROPOSED SOLUTION:
To bring Trans-Clean’s brand into the modern era, I proposed a full redesign of both their website and visual identity.
Mobile-First Design:
Truckers are often on the road and rely heavily on mobile devices. I prioritized a mobile-first approach, ensuring the new website would be fully responsive and easy to use on smaller screens. I chose a dark color scheme to reduce glare and make it more comfortable for drivers viewing the site at night in their cabs.Navigation-Friendly Features:
Truckers frequently use navigation apps like TruckerPath to plan routes and stops. To make their experience seamless, I built a feature allowing users to copy Trans-Clean’s address with a single tap. This can be pasted directly into navigation apps, helping truckers get precise directions without extra steps.Clear Service & Pricing Information:
Transparency was essential. Truckers need to quickly understand what services are offered and how much they’ll cost. I redesigned the site to place the list of services and pricing front and center, removing confusion and building trust.Product Presentation with Lifestyle Imagery:
Trans-Clean also sells cleaning and detailing products onsite, but their previous website only displayed plain product shots, which felt uninspired. Instead, I used AI tools to create lifestyle images that show these products in real-world contexts—like being applied to truck surfaces or used during cleaning routines. This approach made the products feel relevant and engaging rather than generic.Brand Refresh:
Alongside the website, I developed a new logo and branding system that better reflects Trans-Clean’s professionalism and industry heritage. The updated visual style communicates reliability, cleanliness, and modern service standards, helping them stand out in a competitive market.
